Feeding the Astral Umbilical is a 4 week container dedicated to the cultivation of relationship with star baby ancestors - the spirits of children who have been aborted or miscarried.
Feeding the Astral Umbilical is a channeled offering in the lineage of Mizuko Kuyo (水子供養), a Japanese Buddhist ceremony intended to support the transitioning spirits of babies and the unborn who have been aborted or miscarried. Mizuko 水子 means water child and refers to the spirits of babies who never made it to earth; kuyo 供養 means memorial service. Water connects the celestial to the earthly, and is also the predominant element of the womb. It is the element that carries new life in and out of this world. In mizuko kuyo ceremony, the child-bearing person as well as the spirit of the baby that never made it to earth, are held together in ritual as they transition their relationship from the physical to the spiritual.
Over the course of this 4 week virtual container, my star baby Kizuna and I will guide those who have experienced pregnancy loss deeper into our body memories, up & out into the heart of the stars, and back into the earth plane where we integrate the teachings and messages we have received into our lives. As much as this work is about moving with grief and tending to unprocessed emotion held in the womb and spirit, this work is also about cultivating relationships with bright and intelligent star ancestors. Through feeding the astral umbilical, we pass nourishment back and forth from earth to cosmos, anchoring ourselves into universal kinship and support.
